Fly Fishing TuitionThe main course offered at Spiddal Angling School is the course in Fly Fishing. The course is suitable for beginners. If, however, you have no prior experience of fly fishing, then it is advisable to take a more theory intensive course before going to the river bank. Each fishing course is customised to suit the needs of the client. The theory module broadly covers the following topics:
It may be that a student would like to learn about other subjects. Spiddal Angling School can also incorporate other modules such as fly tying into the course. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further details. Part 2: Practical course in casting At Spiddal Angling School, we are surrounded by lakes and rivers; just minutes away from good fishing! Students are brought to the river and receive lessons in casting. Each individual is tutored at his/her own pace. Remember, we cater for all levels of competency, from beginner to improver. Each course is unique, and designed by us to suit your skill. Spiddal Angling School will provide all the equipment; however, it is strongly advised that you bring your own safety glasses. Safety eyewear is compulsory for all practical courses. Spiddal Angling School offers many guided fishing trips. Individuals or groups are welcome. The maximum group number is 10. Please contact us, so we can assess your unique need.
